Galari Consultancy has recently established a partnership with the Indigenous Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (IPEPA). Together they are delivering monthly yarning circles that create a culturally safe space for conversations about life-limiting illness through taking a spiritual approach.
We listen to and support people experiencing life-limiting illness and their families. We help them to articulate their wishes; and facilitate culturally sensitive estate, legal and financial planning- inclusive of advanced care planning, powers of attorney, wills, superannuation beneficiary nominations; and funeral arrangements. We seek to influence systems and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and the non-Indigenous workforce to ensure policy and service delivery is culturally responsive.
